Hello, I’m Teri Page. Thank you for visiting Homestead Honey! In October, 2012 our family of four packed up our Oregon homestead of 13 years and moved to Northeast Missouri, where we are creating a radical homestead on 10 acres of raw land. We are creating and cultivating organic gardens, and planting food forests while we camp on the land, building our off-grid, 250 square foot home.
The decision to move to Missouri and start a homestead from scratch was not an easy one, but it came from a strong desire to live in close community, to own a piece of land on which we can grow our own food and live in harmony with nature, and most importantly, to live simply and without debt, so we can spend more time as a family, doing what we love.
What I love is gardening, raising animals, knitting, reading, Waldorf Education, musical theater, dance, backpacking, and spending time with my Homestead Husband and my two little ones, ages 2 and 5. I write about these things and more on this blog.
Thank you for joining me!
